Training Staff

Our head instructor, Anthony Blaylock, is a dedicated  rope access professional. Anthony serves on the Knoxville Volunteer Rescue Squad and is a level III SPRAT certified technician. He has been trained by several manufactures on the equipment we sell, and you use daily. The most important qualities our training exudes are confidence in skill, knowledge, and safety. The commitment and passion our company dedicates to safety is our main priority to install in any course that we teach. Safety should be the biggest concern and our instructor and courses give you the skills and knowledge to keep you and your co-workers safe and assured everyday on the job. We will teach you to work more efficiently and with a higher degree of skill and safety using the newest products and methods available. Our rescue techniques involve no cutting or shock loading of the rescue system. We will teach you to smoothly help a victim and not make a bad situation worse.

Jon Lillestolen brings to TES over 10 years of working, teaching and pursuing vertical adventures.  He comes to us from a Firefighting and Vertical Rescue background.  Jon's drive for efficiency helps drive curriculum development for TES's broad range of rescue and rope access training programs.  When not climbing towers, Jon dedicates himself to original cave exploration in the Southern Appalachians and Southern Mexico.
