AB Chance 115 Volt AC Capstan Hoist. This portable lightweight capstan hoist delivers high torque muscle with constant control. Compact size in 115 VAC with 1000 lb. capacity at 40 FPM. It is convenient for construction and maintenance because it relocates quickly, anchors to I-beams, floors, walls and other structural supports. The weathertight foot control switch allows the operator to easily control raising or lowering of loads. Also, the backstop clutch performs positive holding and it works with polydacron, polyester blend or manila ropes. Its unique rope retention system prevents the rope from leaving the drum, when used in conjuction with the rope locking device.
